SAN DIEGO, CA, June 28, 2010… Surf Dog Ricochet, the SURFice dog who lives a lifestyle of helping others by ‘pawing it forward’ (aka doing good deeds for others) and who recently won 3rd place in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge Surf competition, has reached a new milestone – 10,000 fans on Facebook! This fan base has also helped raise almost $30,000 in donations for Ricochet’s charitable causes!

San Diego’s Gaslamp District is a treasure-trove of eateries and night spots, with something for everyone within just sixteen city blocks. The Gaslamp Quarter Association lists 124 dining venues to choose from… Where to begin??? This weekend will provide the perfect opportunity to explore the flavors of San Diego’s thriving center, when more than 50 restaurants and bars will open their doors and share delectable samples for the Taste of Gaslamp!

Art takes to the streets this weekend for the La Jolla Festival of the Arts – June 26th & 27th. Nearly 200 juried artists from the western US and Mexico will present their works from serigraphs to photography, sculpture to fine jewelry, and all mediums of paint. Chalk artists from around the world will bring the streets themselves alive, with color and beautifully rendered works of art…

Vendors will present green energy solutions and products made from recycled materials, while the festival will utilize green solutions for energy and waste to create a fun family event with a very small footprint…
