A thriving port city, it can be hard to find a peaceful stretch of beach just steps from San Diego’s downtown area. There are opportunities, however, if you know where to look among the many waterfront parks around San Diego Bay. Take a bit of time to explore, have patience with parking, and soak in some of America’s finest city’s rich history along with a bit of sun!
