“Sitting on the north side of the ship canal leading to Mission Bay, the South Strand of Mission Beach has plenty to offer sunseekers. Adjacent to the large parking area and overlooking the canal, a number of fire pits are available.  I love to glide along the breakwater and enjoy the activity of boaters, divers, surfers & revelers…”  Sandbag C.
