The Wildlife Reserve is an ornithologist’s paradise.   In this rare salt-water marsh, birds have a precious habitat where they can roost and multiply.  There are trails extending from the south end of Seacoast Drive to allow hikers a chance at rare sightings in the extensive wetland area.  Few amenities are available at this location.  We don’t mind if it’s left to the birds, but we do enjoy polite company…”  Sandbag C. From I-5, exit at Coronado Avenue  (exit 4) and head west.  Continue as Coronado becomes Imperial Beach Boulevard.  Turn left at Seacoast Drive and proceed south to it’s end.
