Sandbag C. Gull, Chief Narrator“Have a seat & enjoy the view from your bench atop the bluff,  or stroll below along the beach walk promenade. Regardless of the tides, the paved beach walk offers year round access to this stretch of paradise. I like the benches. Good launching points for food thievery.”    Sandbag C. Gull

Robert C Frazee Beach (At Carlsbad Village)

Located one block south of Carlsbad Village Drive on Ocean Street is a parking area, overlook, and a small grassy park. There is also a ramp for pedestrian beach access.

.

Frazee Beach (Between Tamarack & Cannon Roads)

Along the seawall, there are several points of access near Chestnut, Maple and Cherry Streets. There are staircases here connecting the walking path to the beach, but these are not handicapped accessible. Street parking here is available along Carlsbad Blvd, and on side streets to the east.

Using the pedestrian crosswalks are a must when crossing Hwy 101 (aka: Carlsbad Blvd.) Beware! We almost got ran over taking the below photographs and we used the crosswalk! On a poetic note, a police car saw the cell phone challenged driver almost run us over. He chased her down and gave her a ticket. Ha! ;-D
