Sandbag C. Gull, Chief Narrator

“The northern Carlsbad beaches consist of shallow sand areas defined by sea walls and lower cliffs.  During high tide, not much powdery sand remains. Rows of residences tightly line the beachfront, thus creating a less private setting than elsewhere. I have a place here myself…”        Sandbag C. Gull

Along Ocean Street, starting at Carlsbad Village Drive and heading north to Mountain View Drive, are five public beach access points.  Each point has several flights of stairs leading to the beach. The nearest cross streets are: Carlsbad Village, Grand, Christiansen, Beech, and Garfield as we make our way north to the border of Oceanside.
