Somewhat similar to the social scene found just to the south in Mission Beach, Pacific Beach is perhaps best known as “party central” for the 20 somethings.
Many restaurants join the vacation rentals that line the Boardwalk, and there are always people out enjoying the activity and the sights. The Crystal Pier is one of many hot spots. Extending out over the ocean, the Pier provides stellar sunset views. Pacific Beach continues north stretching to La Jolla.
