Nir-va-na |nərˈvänə| “Year round idyllic weather & miles of sandy shoreline“
It’s no wonder our beaches rank high in “beach-goer” satisfaction. From sun drenched coves, to towering bluffs, to miles of flat sandy expanses…pack ‘em in or solitary spots, we have it all!

Windansea Beach – A surf magazine favorite. Big shore break, locals “territory”, for experienced surfers, coves & rock formations (above & under water)

Different beaches are best for different reasons. I love the Dog Beach in Ocean Beach, which even has a doggie drinking fountain.
Sunset Beach is great for watching a spectacular sunset. And you can’t forget Black’s Beach, San Diego’s clothing optional beach.
I agree! Being very familiar with all of our beaches, I find each one has something special. Black’s with its pristine expanse of sand & towering bluffs as a backdrop. Sunset for its jaw-dropping sunsets. And, who doesn’t like OB’s dog beach?! How about San Onofre? Often forgot about, with beaches right out of a 50’s Elvis movie!
