We love New York City in the fall. Chicago in the Spring. San Francisco in the Summer. But during winter? Not so much. We are spoiled in sunny Southern California. From Coronado to Encinitas, La Jolla to Carlsbad, here we sit in our shorts and sandals. Maybe a little boogie boarding or a picnic on the beach this weekend. Perhaps a jog on the sand before heading to work. Why, some of us will just ride our bicycle into work…you get the picture.

After receiving numerous email requests for sunny pictures, sunny options, [sunny anything] from our readers near & far, we went online & here’s some of the flights we found as of 2:15 PM today, and at that time, there were many but going fast!
- From San Francisco, Oakland or San Jose – Flights $25 each way. Yep, $50 RT.
- From Chicago, Milwaukee, Nashville & Indianapolis – Flights $100 each way.
- From New York City [La Guardia] – Flights $120 each way [1 stop, leaving 12/4 & returning 12/6 for example] NOTE: This flight was normally $459 one way!
TIP: As flights are booked up, they will disappear from the “Wanna Get Away” column. This is where Southwest Airlines puts their deals – while they last!
