The bout between our own San Diego Flat Track Wildfires vs Central Coast Roller Derby Travel Team begins at 7 pm this Saturday, April 4 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
“Free burrito anyone?”
The first 500 people to enter when doors open at 6 pm will receive a coupon for a free Chipotle burrito, (yep, free chow). The Derby Dolls are always generous with giveaways and prizes, including a raffle for a free Flight Lesson. How about that for a Recession Incentive?
Both teams are as yet undefeated (3-0) this season, and this is certainly a sport where audience participation is encouraged. Cheer your favorites, jeer the competition, and marvel at the stamina of the ladies whizzing around the track. It’s a race to make points while their opponents (try to) block their scoring jammer.
